Alistair Goodman, General Manager
As the General Manager of Emodo, Alistair Goodman is responsible for strategy, corporate development, sales, and marketing.
Alistair brings 20+ years of experience working in marketing and product development efforts for media and data technology companies. While CEO at Placecast (acquired by Ericsson), Alistair led a team of location and mobile data management experts. Prior to Placecast, Alistair was VP of Strategic Marketing at Exponential Interactive, an online media services and technology company whose flagship brand Tribal Fusion grew to be one of the largest privately-held digital media companies in the US during his time there. Before Exponential, he was a founder and Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Impli, a San Francisco-based digital media company which was acquired by Premier Retail Networks (PRN).
Alistair holds a BA from Haverford College, an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management and was a Henry Luce scholar in Asia from 1993-94.
Anne Bezancon, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer of Emodo, Anne Bezancon is responsible for business operations and oversees direct sales, account management, ad operations, and privacy.
Prior to Emodo, Anne founded Placecast (acquired by Ericsson) in 2005 where she served as President. Before Placecast, Anne was VP of Directory Services at JiWire (now NinthDecimal). Through the relationships she developed with more than 300 service providers worldwide, she built the leading directory of public wi-fi hotspots from scratch. Before JiWire, Anne was the founder and CEO of BEAP, where she provided custom content management solutions for online publishers. Anne also served as Executive Producer at Productopia, where she coordinated web strategy, business objectives, content and technology - the company quadrupled in size during her tenure.
Anne holds an LLM and JD from the University of Paris and an MBA from the IEP of Paris, France. She is the author of several patents and a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events.
Ken Coffee, Chief Financial Officer
Ken Coffee is an established advertising and marketing technology executive with over 20 years of experience with high growth start-ups and public companies. As Chief Financial Officer of Emodo, Ken is responsible for Emodo’s Finance and Administration functions.
Prior to joining Emodo, Ken served as the Vice President of Finance at Amobee (Singtel), a global advertising technology company leveraging data to help marketers activate programmatic campaigns. Amobee integrated three acquisitions and nearly tripled revenue during his tenure.
Ken also served as VP of Finance & Operations for CompareNetworks and was responsible for Business Management for Velti, a pioneering public ad-tech company. Ken started his career in advertising and marketing services as co-founder and CFO of GTxcel.
Ken holds a degree in Business Administration from California State University – Chico.
Dan Parkes, Chief Technology Officer
Daniel Parkes is an experienced technologist and software architect. As CTO, Parkes is responsible for developing the Emodo technology and platform, including core intellectual property and patents around location content management, geofencing, advertising, inventory management and forecasting. Currently, he focuses on the design and deployment of scalable, enterprise-grade applications to meet the growing needs of Emodo's customers and partners.
Prior to Emodo, Daniel was CTO and Co-Founder of Placecast (acquired by Ericsson) and was a lead architect at Manhattan Associates, a supply-chain software company with solutions in logistics, transportation, replenishment, and retail planning. He was a key member of the team that developed Manhattan's flagship replenishment, forecasting, and inventory management product suite, which is now implemented at several Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology from Harvard University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Geordie Holbert, Chief Commercial Officer
Geordie is a highly-seasoned technology executive with 20+ years of strategic partner and business development experience and an extensive history of success working directly with startup and Fortune 500 companies. At Emodo, Geordie is responsible for new strategic initiatives and business development.
Prior to joining Emodo, Geordie was responsible for Programmatic Partnerships at Tremor Video. He has also served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Taykey and Vice President of Business Development at Velti where he assisted the company with several strategic acquisitions and their IPO onto the NASDAQ. Geordie has also held key leadership positions with Motorola, Verisign and Intellisync (a Nokia Company).
Simon Bailey, Head of EMEA
Simon Bailey is the Head of EMEA and oversees strategy, business development, and operations in Europe.
Prior to Emodo, Simon was the CEO of Axonix, part of the Telefonica group of companies developing data products for advertising. Before Axonix, Simon was at Velti where he was Vice President of Global Demand and managed the global advertising business.
Simon started his career in 1995 working at The Times. Since then, he has spent his years working in the digital space where he has sold media, developed sales teams, and built cutting edge advertising technologies for the likes of Excite Inc., 24/7 Real Media (WPP), and Open X Inc. At OpenX, he was responsible for the product strategy, designing, and building of the first version of the OpenX Real-Time Bidding advertising exchange.
Simon has a degree in French and Politics from the University of Leicester.
Todd Touesnard, SVP, Product & Data Science
Todd is a proven product leader with over 20 years of experience designing and implementing software in startup, growth-stage, and big firm environments. At Emodo, he leads the Data Science and Product Management efforts.
Prior to Emodo, Todd was VP of Product at Placecast where he played a key role in building the technology and platform. He also served as Director of Technology at Manhattan Associates, a global software company specializing in supply-chain optimization where he led and grew the technical services team in focusing on implementing replenishment, inventory management, forecasting, and merchandise planning solutions in North America and Europe. Early in his career, Todd held management, engineering and consulting roles at Evant (now MANH), iMediation (now OpenText), and Oracle.
Todd earned his Biology degree from Bishop's University and completed his graduate studies at Stanford and the Information Technology Institute in Canada.
Martin Skotnicki has over 10 years of experience in sales at media and technology startups and established companies. At Emodo, he is responsible for leading the national sales team.
Prior to joining Emodo, Martin was Vice President of North American Sales at Zeotap, where he led the agency sales team use of Zeotap data across numerous adtech platforms, and was Vice President of Sales - East at Amobee, the adtech arm of SingTel. Before Amobee, Skotnicki opened up Adconion’s NYC office and developed and grew the sales team and played a key role in the company’s acquisition by Amobee. Martin started his career on the agency side working for DDB New York.
Martin received a BA in Marketing from the University of Colorado.
