We are thrilled to continue our Employee Spotlight blog series, where we shine a well-deserved light on the talented individuals who contribute to the success of Emodo. Today, we are excited to introduce you to Phil Rosengreen, Sales Director at Emodo.

Phil will soon hit his two year anniversary with Emodo this March. As Sales Director, Phil is responsible for driving revenue for Emodo across our managed service and PMP business. This includes helping our clients drive the best results possible out of their digital ad buys.

Get to know Phil:

Q: What do you like best about working for Emodo? 

A: “The people first and foremost. I have a great team that I get to work with and appreciate all they do to help me close those deals. I love the opportunity to chat to new people and share more on the great work we’re doing at Emodo. We have such a great product and I love being able to share that with the people I meet across agencies and brands.”

Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given? 

A: “My Dad would often remind me that ‘to enjoy the highs, you have to experience the lows’.” 

Q: How do you uphold these principles in your daily life?

A: “I try to remain fairly even-keeled in both my work and home life. In sales, it has helped me to keep my head down and refocus when things aren’t panning out as hoped. Things can change very quickly, and with a two-and-a-half-year-old and newborn at home, this definitely applies to both work and home.”

Q: Can you share a memorable project or achievement during your time at Emodo that you’re particularly proud of?

A: “Exceeding clients’ expectations across numerous campaigns, both managed service and via PMP. So much work goes into getting that first test campaign with a new brand or partner, and turning that first test into a 2nd and 3rd campaign is no easy feat. The fact that we have so many brands already committed to returning in 2024 is a testament to the hard work, dedication and results we’ve been able to achieve.”

Q: How do you foster a positive and collaborative work environment for your team?

A: “Leading from the front, admitting when I’m wrong, and recognizing the outstanding work of my colleagues are just some of the ways I try to foster a collaborative work environment. Being available on Slack and sharing industry knowledge across pods is also something I try to work into my work life. After all, we’re all #oneteam #onedream over here at Emodo.”

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?

A: “I like to golf in my free time, but with a newborn and two-and-a-half-year-old, that doesn’t always match up with family commitments. Cooking, gaming, and traveling also keep me busy. With my wife born in Ecuador and all my family back home in Australia, travel will continue to be a significant part of my future.”
